Family and Friends Group (not currently running)
6:30-8pm First Wednesday of the month Mental Wellness is a complicated issue! Mental health and psychotherapy can be confusing and daunting to both the person struggling with mental health issues as well as their family and friends. We would like to help reduce some of this confusion by providing a forum for learning and discussion for family and friends of those with mental illness. Participants will have the opportunity to learn some of the core dialectical behavior therapy skills and about the concept of mentalizing --- both of which can help 1) improve communication, 2) address conflict, and 3) deepen understanding of hard to understand issues.
